Controls
Enter Start or resume the mission.
P Pause or resume.
R Reset to the title screen.
Esc Close an open window, or pause while running.
Combat controls
← → or A D Move the cannon.
Mouse or Touch Move the targeting circle anywhere across the grid.
J L Aim left/right; I K aim farther/nearer.
Space or pointer click Fire the primary laser.
T Fire a torpedo through the horizontal row containing the targeting circle.
V Activate the vaporizer, destroying every active Grid Nasty. Walkers are unaffected.
Choose Campaign, Endless, Score Attack, Time Attack, Practice, or Daily Challenge in Settings. Campaign retains the fifteen-opponent progression. Endless continues until all cannons are lost. Score Attack lasts three minutes. Time Attack measures how many encounters you can clear in two minutes. Practice repeats a selected opponent. Daily Challenge uses the local calendar date to create a consistent five-encounter sequence. Each encounter changes enemy counts, speed, armor, cloaking, shield pressure, Walker behavior, or resupply. Rapid hits build a score multiplier. Surviving shields and conserved special weapons award encounter bonuses. A Walker reaching the near edge costs a cannon unless No-loss mode is enabled.
Accessibility
Settings include large interface text, flash reduction, reduced or disabled motion, high contrast, trajectory assistance, and adjustable simulation speed. All menus and combat commands are keyboard accessible.
Utilities
The Utilities window can export or import all saved settings, progress, scores, and statistics; capture a PNG screenshot; enter fullscreen or presentation mode; and reset all locally stored game data. Press Escape to leave presentation mode. Imported saves are validated before replacing local data.
