Interactive EKG simulation and training EXTENDED EDITION
Select or drag an electrode, then choose its matching target. The torso is schematic; use the written landmarks during clinical training.
This application generates synthetic ECG/EKG waveforms for teaching and practice. It is not a medical device and does not interpret recordings from a real person.
Anyone with concerning symptoms should seek qualified medical care. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Use the heart-rate slider to change the simulated sinus rate. Paper speed controls horizontal timing, while gain controls vertical amplitude.
Wave labels identify the P wave, QRS complex, and T wave. Slow motion reduces display speed while preserving the simulated measurements. Freeze Strip pauses the display for review. The Extended Edition combines rhythm simulation, measurement tools, clinical labs, fictional cases, local progress, instructor controls, accessibility settings, EKG image export, and an interactive heart-conduction anatomy view.
Choose Heart electrical pathways from the Workspace menu to watch the impulse move through the normal conduction system in synchronization with a linked EKG waveform. Use Play, Replay, Step, Slow Motion, or the cycle control for guided study. The Conduction comparison menu contrasts normal timing with AV conduction delay and delayed right- or left-bundle activation.
In portrait layout, use the menu button in the top bar to open or hide the control panel. All primary controls are touch-sized.
Progress is stored only in this browser on this device. No account or network connection is required.
Use these controls for classroom demonstrations, guided questioning, and rapid pattern changes.
